APRIL 21  OCSJ  ANNUAL  PICNIC AT PAKIM  POND.
This is always  a highlight  of the Spring Season  if  not the year. In addition  to the  food   activities  will include  hikes, paddle opportunities and  more.

MAY 5 WASHINGTON DC BUS TRIP AND SELF- GUIDED TOUR.

Packed with famous sights, celebrated symbols of patriotism, free attractions, the sights and sounds of the nation's capital offer inspiring experiences   COST: $35.00 per person.  TO ORDER:  Send check payable to OUTDOOR CLUB OF SOUTH JERSEY to Jane Paone 29 W. Second St. ,Moorestown,NJ  08057  All payments must be made by April 5 , 2018   ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST.  Order tickets as soon as possible.  We need an early response, in order not to disappoint anyone. First come, first serve.  No reserved seats.  Please include your telephone number and E-mail address (also cell phone number for the day of the trip). For those  parking at meeting location , include  vehicle  description .For a receipt, include self-addressed stamped envelope. All sales final.  For refund, tickets must be re-sold. Meet at the Garden State Pavilion parking lot-Marlton Pike (RT. 70) and Cornell Ave.Cherry Hill,NJ. Use the far edge of the Modell’s parking lot closest to Friendly’s. Meet at 7:00am Bus departs promptly at 7:30am, rain or shine.  Arrive DC 10 -11 a.m. Depart DC 5:00 pm.  Arrival time from DC approx. 830 p.m. (Volunteer gratuity for driver)

To start the summer season, you are cordially invited to join us for our annual Cape May Outing. Our headquarters, as in years past, will be THE CHALFONTE HOTEL, 301 Howard Street, Cape May, New Jersey, (1-800-678-8946).

NOTE: It is  suggested that  participants   have  leader's  cell phone  number. either  in their phone or in their  possion in their  phone. This  can help if last  minute  changes  occur  or  if  seperate  from the  group for any reason.
Rosemarie Mason and Diane Mason (members of OCSJ) are doing a presentation at the 29th Annual Pinelands Short Course. March 10th, at Stockton College.

JOIN THE  PADDLER'S  MILEAGE  CLUB

The Paddlers'  Mileage  Club starts  its 2nd.  year.

Any canoe/kayak trip  counts with any group or individual.

The miles are sent in the first week of January 2019. but the last trip is December 31,2018

The paddlers who  do not make 300,400 or 500 miles, but turn  in  miles will get honorable mention on the website.

OCSJ Non-member participation Policy

 

 

1.  OCSJ is a member organization. Membership funds pay for insurance and other Club overhead. However, prospective members and guests of OCSJ members may try one regular activity from each of our activity sections without joining.  Thereafter they must join to be eligible for the hundreds of activities and events available every year.

 

2. Participants on trips which charge money must be members of OCSJ, except where the trip is a joint trip with another club and the participant is a member of that club.  Members of OCSJ may bring guests on a day trip charging money.  Participants on overnight trips charging money must always be an OCSJ member.
