Cross-Country Ski Group

We are a diverse group of skiers, and we welcome all skill levels.

We have learn-to-ski weekends, trips that focus on the XC touring centers, and trips designed for back-country skiing and snowshoeing., but there is a lot of flexibility in all trips.


Each spring we have an Apres Ski party to re-unite with the friends we made on the last season's outings.  At that time the leaders present the schedule for the next season.


Our fall meeting is a good place to hear details of our upcoming trips, meet other skiers, and sign up for trips.   The date this year is Fri, Oct 16, at 7pm.  Contact the Chairman for directions.

NEW!!  We have a new twist on the Apres Ski party this year thanks to Fran and Dennis McKane. Fran and Dennis have offered their lovely new home in North Wildwood for the party. Two activities have been organized for the morning/ early afternoon. 

Pre-party bike trip – 10am - 30 mile C ride from North Wildwood, NJ.  We will celebrate the end of ski season with a bike ride from North Wildwood to the Cape May Lighthouse.  Approx 4 hrs.  We will stop for lunch (bring or buy your own lunch) and be back in time for a walk on the beach. Meet at 2nd and Surf Aves.  Leader: Fran Horn 856-786-0048 FranHorn@gmail.com 

Pre-party kayak trip – 10am – one to two hrs on the back bay.  We will not be crossing the inlet, so waves and boat traffic should be no problem.  Meet at 5th and New York Aves.  Leader: Dennis McKane  609-707-3025.

Also there’s tons to do in North Wildwood, especially the boardwalk or walking on the beach.  .

Directions to McKane’s:   Take the Atlantic City Expressway to the Garden State Parkway south.  Exit 6, follow Rt 147 East.  Go approx 4 miles.  Rt 147 becomes No Wildwood Blvd and crosses over a bridge, then becomes New Jersey Ave/CR621.  Turn left onto E 8th Ave.  #406 is on the right just after the intersection with Surf Ave.
